Borders is an independent, student-run journal here at the University of Guelph. It is an undergraduate Arts research journal that has been published biannually since 2008. Borders aims to perform an on-going analysis of borders as they exist in different forms and are dealt with in different ways. Examples of borders are seen within political/cultural contexts, gender relations, crossing between various creative mediums, phenomenology, borders between academia and its surrounding society, theory and practice, and in a plethora of other instances. Such topics as these are analyzed in Borders and provide an exciting forum for undergraduate students to share their research on topics of cultural significance with a wide readership.
